Survivors Unlimited in association with the Violence Prevention Alliance, Jamaica
presents a one-day intensive workshop,'Helping the Grieving Child'. The keynote lecture will
be delivered by Dr. Kenneth Doka, senior consultant to the Hospice Foundation of America,
and one of the world's leading bereavement researchers.
You will learn:
● how children and adolescents experience loss at the various developmental stages
● how traumatic loss affects the grieving process
● the benefits of art and music therapy for young grievers
